Supporter Onboarding Checklist - Getting Started with Vygo
This checklist will guide supporters through the essential steps to set up the supporter profile and start making an impact as a supporter.
1. Creating Your Account
- Download Vygo App:
- Access Vygo Web App:
- URL: Vygo Web App
- Register:
- Select "Register Now"
- Select your university and fill in your details
- Verify your email via the verification link
- Log in:
- URL: Vygo Login
2. Joining a Program
- Navigate to the Program Tab:
- Browse and select the relevant program
- Select "Join Program" and fill out the Join Questions
3. Becoming a Supporter/Mentor
- Become a Supporter/Mentor after joining the program
- Select the “You are a member” drop-down blue box on top
- Select the "Become a supporter" option (supporter/mentor/advisor etc.)
4. Creating Your Profile
- Introduction Video:
- Create a short video introducing yourself and mentioning your qualifications and mentoring style.
- Tagline:
- Craft a tagline showcasing your personality and expertise
- About Me Section:
- Max 800 characters, including experience, skills, location, and timezone
- Be authentic and showcase your personality
- Availability:
- Set precise availability time slots and days
- Languages:
- List any additional languages you speak
- Profile Picture:
- Upload a recent headshot (LinkedIn style), drag and drop, and crop if needed
5. Mark Your Availability
- Set Availability Status:
- Select your profile picture on top
- Select the available status
- Mark yourself available to connect with students and mentors

- Vygo Help Centre:
- Access advice and answers from the Vygo Support team
