Optimising Filters for Programs and Onboarding

Note: To enable and configure these features, you will need to collaborate with your Program Success Manager (PSM).

Flexible Tag Group Configurations

The latest update introduces the ability to configure tag groups for specific purposes: program filters, onboarding questions, or both. This flexibility empowers administrators like you to organise and personalise the programs better.

What is this feature?

Tag groups can now function in three distinct ways:

  1. Program Filters Only: Enable users to filter programs on the Programs page.
  2. Onboarding Questions Only: Use tags to guide auto-join and recommendations during onboarding.
  3. Both Program Filters and Onboarding Questions: Combine both functionalities for comprehensive management.

Key Scenarios for Use

Scenario 1: Program Filter Only

Use tags for categorisation on the Programs page without complicating onboarding.

Example: Tags like ‘Program type’ (e.g., academic support, language support).

Scenario 2: Onboarding Question Only

Guide program recommendations or auto-join without appearing as filters.

Example: Questions like ‘Preferred contact method’ or ‘Reason for joining.’

Scenario 3: Both Program Filters and Onboarding Questions

Leverage tags for both onboarding personalisation and filtering.

Example: Tags like ‘Field of Study’ or ‘Year Level.’

Why is this important?

  • Streamlined Categorisation: Ensure tags serve their intended purpose without cluttering the user experience.
  • Improved Engagement: Personalise onboarding while enabling quick program discovery.
  • Simplified Management: Clearly define how tags interact with users and administrators.

This feature ensures a tailored approach to program management, enhancing the overall user experience.
