Managing Attendees and Event Engagement
Vygo provides a range of tools to help hosts and admins manage attendees, track participation, and review engagement after an event.
Viewing attendees
Hosts and admins can view a list of users who have registered for an event.
From the attendee view, you can:
- See who has registered
- View attendee profiles
- Review responses to registration questions
- Search for specific attendees
Managing attendance
Attendance can be managed directly within the event.
Marking attendance
Hosts can manually mark attendees as:
- Attended
- No show
This is useful for both online and in-person events.
User attendance confirmation
If attendance has not been marked by the host, users may also be prompted to confirm whether they attended the event the next time they access the platform.
Exporting attendee data
Attendee information can be exported as a CSV file.
Exports may include:
- Registered attendees
- Attendance status
- User roles
- Registration responses
- Feedback responses
This can be useful for reporting, follow-up communications, name tag creation, or deeper analysis outside the platform.
Viewing event feedback
After an event, hosts and admins can review feedback submitted by attendees.
Depending on the event setup, feedback may include:
- Star ratings
- Written comments
- Responses to custom feedback questions
This information is displayed within the event to help evaluate engagement and identify areas for improvement.
Creating group chats
Hosts can create a group chat for event attendees directly from the event management area.
This can be used to:
- Share updates before the event
- Continue conversations after the event
- Provide follow-up information or resources
Event dashboard
Admins can access an Events Dashboard to view and manage events across their programs.
The dashboard provides visibility into:
- Upcoming and past events
- Event hosts
- Attendance numbers
- Event status
- Event duration
Admins can also quickly access or export event information from this dashboard.
Tips
- Review attendance regularly to monitor engagement
- Use feedback questions to gather insights from attendees
- Export attendee data when additional reporting is needed
- Create group chats to improve communication and follow-up
By using attendee management and engagement tools effectively, programs can better understand participation and improve future events.
